(1) Logging into your Account:

Click on “Login” in the upper right corner.
Unless otherwise indicated, your Username is a combination of your FirstnameMiddlename (or Initial) and Lastname separated with a period. (To confirm your Username, lookup your name on the Departmental Directory and make note if it includes any middle initial.)
Examples:
Jamie Chris Lee = jamiechris.lee
Jamie C. Lee = jamiec.lee
Jamie Lee = jamie.lee
Your Password was sent to you in an email when the site was launched.
Enter your Username and Password and click on “Log In”.
This will return to the homepage and a a black menu bar should appear at the top of the screen.
If the black menu bar does not appear, enter your surname in the members search field and press “GO”.
Then locate your linked name in the list and select it.

(2) Resetting your Password:

On the top dark menu bar to the upper left:
My Account -> Settings
Enter new password in each field, then [Save Changes]

(3) Editing your Profile:

On the top dark menu bar to the upper left:
My Account -> Profile -> Edit Profile
Enter information into the fields.
When done, click on [Save Changes] at the bottom of the page.

(4) Preparing your Avatar (profile photo):

NOTE: Photos must be prepared in advance BEFORE uploading to the UTPSYCHIATRY website.

STEP 1: Prepare photo to supported specifications

Option #1:
Use a photo editing program on your computer to change the resolution and size.
Supported specifications: 72 dpi resolution, and 150 x 150 pixels.
Option #2:
Online photo resizer website (the instructions below may appear lengthy, however the website is quite intuitive).
Go to: http://www.resizeyourimage.com/
Upload your photo.
Click on the [Width] button and set to “150″ pixels Click on the [Height] button and set to “150″ pixels
Move the square selection tool over the photo and use the zoom [+][-] buttons if needed.
Click on the round button to resize your image and save it to your computer as a JPG.

STEP 2: Upload your photo to the UTPSYCHIATRY website

Now go back to your Profile page on the utpsychiatry website.
On the top dark menu bar to the upper left:
My Account -> Profile -> Change Avatar
Then use the [Browse...] button to select the file from your computer, then click on [Upload Image].
In the left image, resize the crop selection tool on the left to select the full image, then [Crop Image].
Then click on [Public] to view.

(5) Register for Event:
