Re: Addiction Psychiatry Chair
I am writing to announce that Dr. Tony George will be completing his first term as Addiction Psychiatry Chair effective June 30, 2012. Tony has elected to not seek a second term, and the program has been well served by his outstanding leadership for the past six years. A search is now underway for a successor, with a target date of July 1, 2012. I am pleased to announce that Tony has been appointed a Co-Director in the new Division of Brain and Therapeutics. This division will integrate the clinical, educational and research activities of the programs in Neuroscience; Addictions; Mood Disorders and Schizophrenia, and will be co-directed with Dr. Jim Kennedy effective January 1, 2012.
